Where the shader makes a difference

Sunrise from a hilltop

Try an east-facing window or lookout. A clear horizon lets the orange morning sky stand out behind distant trees.

Build a dock or terrace with an open western view. Keep water in the foreground to bring the pink sky and its reflection into the same scene.

Warm daylight and shaped clouds

For wooden villages: compare roofs, fences and paths in daylight before choosing your block palette. Leave sky above tall builds if you want the outlined clouds in your screenshots.

Choose a shore or clearing for the sky view. The ground can remain very dark, so light paths and entrances as usual. Adjust brightness if the route home is difficult to see.

Frame an existing End city against the sky. The shader changes its atmosphere, not the structure or its loot.

These are the creator’s Reimagined gallery images; their capture build is not specified.

Choose High or Low

High: keeps all available effects. Start here if you want the full appearance.
Low: removes plant movement, directional lighting, cloud layers and water waves. Try it if High feels too demanding.

Brightness: the creator suggests 100 by day and 0 at night. These are optional starting points; raise night brightness if paths become hard to read. Neither profile promises a particular frame rate.

This is the September 11, 2026 Reimagined release shown in the gallery, with both profiles included. It is a Bedrock shader, separate from Java Complementary and Ale’s Newb Complementary project.

Install and activate

Check the loader first. Ale lists MBLoader for Android, BetterRenderDragon or material replacement for Windows, and an iOS route. Match that setup to your exact game build. The file is listed for Bedrock 26.40 while the project advertises 26.44; support for every device is not established.

Deactivate older Dragon packs and other shaders.
Import the MCpack with Minecraft, or through your loader’s import option. Wait for confirmation.
Activate Reimagined in Settings → Global Resources → My Packs. Launch through the shader loader when required.
Select High or Low from the active pack’s gear/settings button if your loader exposes the normal profile selector.
Open a test world and check daylight, water and a night path before using your main world.

If something does not work

Import succeeds but nothing changes: check that the pack is active and that the compatible shader loader is running.
Plants or water stop moving: check whether Low is selected. Those effects are intentionally removed there.
Picture looks wrong: deactivate other shaders and reopen the world before changing more settings.
Want the normal look back: deactivate Dragon and undo renderer changes using the loader’s instructions.
