Check Auralis Visuals 2.0.4's current release labels, treat performance promises as creator claims, and compare resolution presets on a disposable world.
What is current on the creator-owned page
The current source identifies Iced_Fox_Studios as the creator of Auralis Visuals and displays project 1356456 under an All Rights Reserved license. The observed release tuple is auralis_visuals_v2.0.4.mcaddon, file 8612652, 2.4 MB displayed, updated 2026-08-09. Version labels are evidence of what the project page declares, not proof of performance on every device.
The observed project labels top out at 26.30 while the official stable hotfix is 26.45. Current compatibility must be tested, not inferred. Recheck the creator-owned project page before installing because files and version labels can change. MineBrush does not mirror the file, scrape a direct download, or copy creator screenshots. The resource URL sends players to the creator-owned project where license, release, and instructions remain visible.
Set the evidence ceiling before installation
The creator attributes color, lighting, atmosphere, adjustable resolution, and biome-aware water tint to the pack. Those are attributed project claims until MineBrush runs and documents an exact build, device, world, pack order, and scene. This guide intentionally avoids “zero lag,” “works everywhere,” or guaranteed compatibility language. A listed game version is not a measured frame-time result.
Minecraft's official Vibrant Visuals page defines the device and graphics-mode boundary. Confirm the option exists on the device before importing a visual pack. If the mode is unavailable, pack order cannot create support. Split-screen is a separate official limitation and can fall back rather than display the intended mode.
Protect the world and current resource stack
Use a disposable world copy for the first pass. Photograph or write down the existing resource-pack order, global resources, subpack options, Minecraft build, graphics preset, render distance, and device model. Keep the original world and any prior pack version available until the new setup survives import, load, save, close, and reopen.
Do not test in the only Realm copy or a long-running survival save. Importing a pack is not the same as proving persistence. If the game reports an import conflict or duplicate identity, stop and check the creator's upgrade note and current file tuple rather than deleting unrelated packs.
Import from the project, not a mirror
Open the exact creator-owned project URL and verify project 1356456 before following its download control. Confirm the main release still matches file 8612652 and the observed update context. Do not use a repost, shortened link, modified archive, or a file attached to a comment. MineBrush does not host creator bytes.
Open the downloaded resource through the platform's normal Bedrock import flow, then wait for a clear success or failure message. Activate it only in the copied world. If the current creator page does not expose the exact filename, keep that field unknown instead of guessing an extension.
Build a clean default baseline
Before enabling the resource, load the copied world with default Vibrant Visuals and no unrelated visual packs. Visit the chosen test locations and record the official graphics preset. The baseline lets you distinguish the pack's intended changes from the base graphics mode, the world, or another resource.
Use stable, repeatable scenes: two water biomes, foliage, a bright build, a night scene, and each exposed resolution preset. Keep time, weather, camera position, render distance, brightness, and capture method consistent. Original screenshots may be added only after MineBrush runs the scene; creator gallery media is not acceptable as first-party evidence.
The 26.30 label gap is the first decision
Auralis 2.0.4 is visible as the project's main Release, but the observed game-version labels top out at 26.30. The current official stable hotfix source is 26.45. That gap does not prove incompatibility, and it does not justify calling the pack current for 26.45. It creates a mandatory clean-copy test and a fresh check of the creator-owned project page.
Players should verify whether the creator has added a newer file or label before import. If the page remains unchanged, keep the language precise: “the observed project labels include 26.30” rather than “supports the latest version.” A label and a runtime pass are different evidence classes.
Turn adjustable resolution into a preset ladder
The creator describes an adjustable-resolution system. Start at the lowest exposed pack preset, then move upward one step at a time. For every pass, keep Minecraft graphics preset, render distance, world, route, and session length fixed. Name the actual preset label instead of translating it into an assumed pixel size.
At each rung, inspect fine block edges, foliage shimmer, distant water, UI readability, input response, and sustained roughness. A lower preset may improve responsiveness on one phone and make a detailed build unacceptable to its owner. The correct output is a device-specific tradeoff table, not a universal winner.
Test the v2.0.4 water-tint note by biome
The creator's v2.0.4 note mentions biome-aware water tint. Choose two neighboring biomes with visibly different vanilla water context and inspect both from the same height, time, and weather. Include a shoreline transition and an underwater view. Repeat with default Vibrant Visuals before enabling Auralis.
A color difference alone does not prove that the implementation is correct; it shows an observed difference. Watch for abrupt borders, mismatched underwater color, and preset-dependent behavior. MineBrush has not published such a result. The test plan defines how to capture it later with original screenshots.
Do not inherit the “any device” promise
The creator presents the resolution system as suitable for broad device use and describes a balance between beauty and performance. MineBrush treats that as attributed marketing until tested. Minecraft's official Vibrant Visuals page still defines the compatible-device boundary. A pack preset cannot enable the rendering mode on unsupported hardware.
Even within the official hardware list, performance can vary with thermal state, screen resolution, world complexity, render distance, other packs, and background load. A later MineBrush table must identify every tested device and cannot extrapolate to consoles, phones, PCs, or future builds that were not run.
Metadata correction is not a performance result
The creator says v2.0.4 corrects metadata. That can matter for identification or import behavior, but it does not prove visual quality, frame pacing, or world safety. Verify that the imported pack reports the expected name and version, activates in the copy, and stays active after save, close, and reopen.
If import fails, preserve the exact game message and file tuple. Do not edit the All Rights Reserved archive, change its manifest, or redistribute a repaired copy. Report the issue through the creator's project channel. If a new official file appears, record its version, file ID, filename, date, and game labels separately before testing.
What the current sources establish
The source-backed facts are the creator identity, All Rights Reserved status, observed project and file tuple, visible version labels, attributed features, and official Vibrant Visuals boundaries. The test plan above provides a repeatable way to evaluate Auralis Visuals. MineBrush links to the creator-owned project and does not mirror creator files or media.
MineBrush has not published a device-specific runtime result or original comparison screenshots for this setup, so the guide does not claim one. Use the steps above to test the exact device, build, world, and pack order before committing a long-running save.
Source and rights boundary
This article links to current primary sources and summarizes only the facts needed for player decisions. External project names and trademarks identify their owners. MineBrush has not copied creator archives, project images, gallery screenshots, logos, or documentation pages. Follow creator and platform terms at the source.
