BedWars v2.5 packages the familiar bed-defense loop into a Bedrock world: collect generated resources, buy supplies, protect your bed, and remove every opposing bed before the final eliminations. The useful question in 2026 is not whether the arena looks complete; it is whether this 1.18.30-tagged release still preserves team balance and resets cleanly on the exact build your group uses.
Separate the map release from the Minecraft version
| Source field | Creator-listed value | MineBrush boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Project identity | BedWars (Map), credited to TEAM CUBITOS MC; the page also identifies Andiuber as creator | Accepted attribution; legal identity beyond the source accounts was not verified |
| Changelog | v2.5.0 |
A project-release label, not a Minecraft build |
| World link label | BedWars v2.5.mcworld |
Displayed label only; the file was not downloaded or hashed |
| Selected page version | 1.0.2 |
A separate source-page selector; its relationship to v2.5 is unresolved |
| Supported Minecraft tag | 1.18.30 |
Creator-listed historical build, not a current compatibility result |
The source was published in 2020 and last updated in May 2022. Minecraft Bedrock's current release line has moved far beyond 1.18.30, so this page must not claim that v2.5 works on the latest build without a new owned test tuple.
Know the round before inviting players
The creator describes the following loop. Minerals spawn from generators and pay for weapons, food, and blocks through villagers on each island. A bed keeps its player or team eligible to respawn; after that bed is destroyed, the next elimination is final.
| System | Creator-stated behavior | First check |
|---|---|---|
| Teams | Solo for four players or four teams of up to four players | Make sure every occupied base receives the intended spawn and color |
| Economy | Generators have levels; island villagers trade resources for combat and building supplies | Compare the same generator tier and first useful purchase at each base |
| Beds | Players can respawn while their bed survives; a bedless side loses that protection | Destroy one test bed, then verify the next death does not return that player to combat |
| Arena repair | The creator says the map repairs itself in about 50 seconds | Time one small, repeatable block change and inspect all bases after repair |
| Reset | The creator documents /function reset for resetting bugs |
Use it only in a disposable copy and confirm beds, inventories, generators, and players all return to a known state |
These are creator statements, not MineBrush runtime results. The map file, commands, functions, shop inventory, and generator timing were not inspected.
Run one compact acceptance match
If you need to import the world on Android, iPhone, or iPad first, use our Bedrock map import guide, then return here and test only a duplicate.
- Keep an untouched imported master and open only a duplicate. Record the exact filename, Bedrock build, host device, and source date.
- Join with at least two players, place them on different bases, and confirm that normal players cannot access host-only controls.
- Wait for the equivalent generator at both bases, make the same first purchase, and compare timing and cost.
- Protect one bed, destroy the other, eliminate the bedless player, and confirm that the match reaches an understandable final state.
- Exercise the documented repair or reset path, save, exit Minecraft completely, reopen the same copy, and repeat the spawn and generator checks.
A successful import is not a match pass. Keep this release private until team placement, economy, bed state, final elimination, and reset all work on the intended host and joining devices.
Choose the correct session boundary
- Good candidate: a private group willing to test an older world and restore a clean master between rounds.
- Hold: any current-build session where team selection, generator parity, shops, or the reset function has not been reproduced.
- Reject for that setup: a public event when bedless players respawn, one base has a broken economy, or normal players can trigger administrative controls.
Realm and dedicated-server behavior are unknown. A LAN or local-world result must not be generalized to either hosting lane.
Use the creator's required sharing route
TEAM CUBITOS MC's page says shared posts should not expose direct file links, use a personal link shortener, or re-upload the map to another site or app without permission. MineBrush therefore provides no mirror and no direct binary button.
