Current release check: Better on Bedrock v1.2.1 is a Bedrock survival expansion listed for Minecraft 26.10. The current creator-controlled release exposes one .mcaddon download and declares no CurseForge project dependencies.
This is a world foundation, not a small HUD toggle. Its current scope crosses progression, scripts, generated structures, loot, items, equipment, mobs, and an in-world guide. Start in a new disposable world, then use a copy—not the only copy—of any established save.
Match the exact v1.2.1 file surface
| Project | Better on Bedrock v1.2.1 |
|---|---|
| CurseForge project ID | 1057117 |
| File ID | 7951504 |
| Published | April 19, 2026 |
| Bedrock label | 26.10 |
| Listing filename | Better-on-Bedrock_v1.2.1.mcaddon |
| Delivered filename | Better-on-Bedrock (1).mcaddon |
| HTTP content length | 76,480,522 bytes |
| Dependencies | CurseForge relations: 0 |
| Experiments | The creator says no experimental toggles are required |
The filename difference is real: the public card uses the versioned name while the file record and delivery route expose Better-on-Bedrock (1).mcaddon. Record file ID 7951504 and the byte count instead of identifying the release by filename alone.
MineBrush has not opened the archive. We therefore do not claim how many behavior or resource packs it contains, their UUIDs, internal versions, activation order, script-module declarations, or migration rules. The current external surface proves one .mcaddon, not separate downloadable .mcpack files.
What v1.2.1 specifically addresses
The current changelog is unusually useful because it names concrete systems:
- the Guide Book can be obtained with
/guidebookin Survival; - WAWLA changes “Can Harvest” to “Ready to Harvest”;
- the scripting version was updated to v2;
- structures received fixes for unknown blocks, missing container loot, vault unlocking, and unintended command blocks;
- Staff cooldown, Corstinite Vein Miner drops, Nether Amulet third-person models, and Resin Candy boots were corrected;
- Willager cloning, Frostaeris loot, and Dustmite drops were corrected;
- several armor, dropped-item, plushie, and harvest-status behaviors were adjusted.
These are creator release notes, not MineBrush-observed results. Turn them into a regression checklist only after the clean import works.
Import one container, then inspect the world settings
- Confirm the test device is running the creator-listed Bedrock 26.10 build.
- Create a new disposable world before importing the file.
- Download file ID
7951504from the creator’s CurseForge or MCPEDL project route. - Open the
.mcaddonwith Minecraft and wait for the import result. - Inspect the world’s Behavior Packs and Resource Packs lists and record every component the import actually added.
- Activate only the matching components from this import; do not mix them with an older Better on Bedrock release.
MCPEDL provides Android, iOS, and Windows 10 installation guides. Actual file opening, storage access, multiplayer delivery, and platform policy can still differ by device. Consoles, Realms, dedicated servers, and joining-client behavior are not proven by a successful local import.
Prove five systems in a new world
- Guide: obtain the Guide Book through the documented route and confirm its pages, icons, and prompts render.
- Generation: explore fresh terrain and record coordinates for one generated structure or affected loot container.
- Progression: complete one early objective and verify the next useful recipe or resource becomes understandable.
- Items and mobs: inspect one custom item in inventory and third person, then observe one added creature’s spawn, behavior, and drop.
- Persistence: save, fully close Minecraft, reopen the world, and repeat the guide, structure, item, and mob checks.
An old explored area cannot prove new world generation. A clean new world tells you whether v1.2.1 can create its intended content; a separate copy of the established world tells you whether the existing save tolerates the add-on.
Separate an import problem from a content problem
| Symptom | First useful response | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Import succeeds but nothing changes | Open world settings and record which behavior/resource components actually appeared and are active | Container import versus world activation |
| Guide text or icons are missing | Retest with only components imported from file ID 7951504 | Matching resource/behavior layers |
| Structures or loot are absent | Generate fresh terrain in a clean 26.10 world | Old chunks versus current generation |
| Items work but render incorrectly | Disable other visual packs before changing gameplay settings | Resource conflict versus behavior logic |
| Mobs clone or drop the wrong item | Confirm v1.2.1 and reproduce in a new world | Named v1.2.1 regression targets |
| An established world becomes unstable | Stop using that copy and return to the untouched backup | Migration/persistence unknown |
Test multiplayer and performance separately
For multiplayer, let a second player join the disposable world, confirm all required resource delivery, use the guide, visit the same structure, inspect an item, interact with a mob, leave, and reconnect. Do not upload the only copy of a valuable world to a Realm.
For performance, repeat a fixed route through fresh terrain, a generated structure, several entities, inventory, and guide screens. Record device, OS, Bedrock build, active components, render settings, storage, world age, connection mode, warm-up, and duration. Watch frame consistency, input response, loading stalls, app reloads, memory pressure, heat, and battery—not only an FPS counter.
MineBrush has no archive inspection, import, device, Realm, server, persistence, migration, achievement, removal, or performance result for v1.2.1.
Rights and source boundary
The Better on Bedrock project is labeled All Rights Reserved on CurseForge. Do not mirror the .mcaddon or creator images. The Poggy wiki footer says the wiki is released under MIT; that must not be applied to the separate add-on archive.

Download boundary: use a creator-controlled page. Preserve the received filename and bind it to file ID 7951504 and 76,480,522 bytes; do not upload the archive to MineBrush.
